Shapes align
A cold straight line
Well-timed clock
Internal lock
Moral blinds
Familiar ties
Sporadic talk
A tightrope walk
CHORUS
My folks had a plan, my wife knew my other name
The shovel and the shed, the needle and the photo frame
A reassuring stroll, a face that I keep inside
My folks had a plan, my folks dressed me up in chains
I cannot shut the voice, the voice that I keep inside
I cannot shut the voice, the voice that I keep inside
My folks had a plan, my folks knew another game
The shovel and the shed, the needle and the photo frame
Prefect, perfect subject
Condemned earth pile
Reject, proper defect
Once in a while
BRIDGE
Clouds ignite, a crimson sky
Toxic smile, a strange design
Shapes align
A cold straight line
Well-timed clock
Internal lock
Moral blinds
Familiar ties
Sporadic talk
A tightrope walk
(Shapes align, the message lost in time)

I can’t stop listening to Tuatara, this is Australian prog at its finest, who knew there was so much of it? Is there an Australian prog festival? Because there should be and I want to go!! Deej

Absolutely hooked on this album from first listen. How rare is that with prog!??? Excellent songwriting and musicianship. Can’t wait to dive into the rest of the collection. Thomas Lock

Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej
